30 Day Manicure Essentials
Jess Briarmoon created the 30 Day Manicure technique years before gel polish in a bottle hit the market. Akzentz Options Colored gels in the pot were out and while they offer excellent wear, they are very flexible. Clients would want their nails to go 3-4 weeks, but they needed extra strength and hardness. After repairing numerous cracked stress areas with a thin coat of hard gel and covering it with gel color, she realized the clients were happier, the color e-filed off cooler, and they stopped breaking or cracking their natural nails.
With the dawn of gel polish in a bottle, the hardness of these Polish+Gel combos became a bit of an issue because they would be too hard. There are ways to work around this by using a more flexible base or top coat. Akzentz gels are 100% gel and do not have polish inside, so you won't see this problem.
